First of all, I have to say how thankful I am for a wonderful show filled with such a talented cast. Everything from the setting to the wardrobe to the acting is superbly done! I have looked forward to watching this show every week and there is no other show I have been able to say that about for a long time! Just the fact that my kids can watch it with me is unique. Secondly, I was truly enjoying watching the love story of Jack and Elizabeth unfold and develop. It’s what drew me to the show in the first place. The season finale was so disappointing and while I have enjoyed this show tremendously, I can’t imagine it ever being nearly as good again without both of the main characters. While I truly love and enjoy every character and find that each of them add so much to the show, Jack and Elizabeth were really the highlight of the entire show for me. I am really hoping that there is some sort of mistake and that next season Jack will appear again. He and Elizabeth had a special presence together on camera that is irreplaceable.

Yes, this is reality, but happily ever after is what I was look for. See a whole original family raise a child. I won’t be back with hallmark period.

One of the reasons why I loved this Series so, was the relationships that evolved at the hands of amazing writers and outstanding casting. Everyone fit their parts so perfectly. But the characters of Jack and Elizabeth were the heart and soul of this series and without Jack, it has lost a huge amount of its heart.

As far as “reality to life”, sorry, I don’t buy that. We have enough of it when we turn off the television. This was entertainment and the one positive outcome is, i won’t be wishing my life away waiting for the next season.

The storylines on When Calls the Heart has been deterioting with each season. Erin Krakow and Daniel Lissing were fresh faces five seasons ago. They made the show. Now, it’s full of recycled storylines and recycled Hallmark actors.

Not properly developing Jack and Elizabeth’s relationship and characters led to Sunday’s low point… I’m not surprised if Daniel Lissing wants to leave.. I’m done with this show and network.

I was introduced to “When Calls the Heart” this past January, and rarely watching TV, I was surprised to find myself each night watching an episode, even two, as it helped me escape our complex, often traumatic world and settle into a time of warmth, compassion, and love before falling asleep. I thank you writers, producers, directors and the stunning cast of “When Calls the Heart” for bringing me some peace and tranquility. It was difficult to see Jack leave the show, and I was nervous about Elizabeth leaving Hope Valley too. So I am grateful to the writers for bringing her some comfort in the end, and hopefully a baby to carry on Jack’s life.

First Very well acted Thank you for the writers cast and crew The difficulty is when you kill off a lead actor there remains such a deep void I can see lots of possibilities for story lines involving all of the actors Each actor is so valuable in this well deserved upcoming season Good Luck !PS Nice to see jack come back to see his baby girl born (wrong identity of person killed ) I still can dream 😊

    • We cried through the whole finale episode, it was heart wrenching! We love Jack & Elizabeth, it was painful to watch Elizabeth & others, why was this necessary?

Yes, it was heartwrenching! 😔 Many of us Hearties have questions just like yours and we’ve been told that our questions will be answered in the Facebook Live with Lori Loughlin, Erin Krakow, Daniel Lissing, and Brian Bird on Hallmark Channel USA’s Facebook page at 6PM Eastern/5PM Central/4PM Mountain/3PM Pacific. I’m planning to watch to hear those answers. 👍🏼

Disappointed YES…but there are people everyday who live this reality. I admire When Calls the Heart for taking a risk at dealing with a sensitive issue…one that doesn’t get dealt with very often in primetime. It isn’t you’re normal eveyday Hallmark happy ending; but it does touch on the unpredictability of life in general. Life is messy…and it is joyful…but rarely is it exactly as we plan. Thank you for having courage to tackle a tough subject. We will miss Jack for sure!
