Love the storyline of Elizabeth and Jack, so sad to lose Daniel Lissing for whatever his reasons are, of which we fans will never truly know. But as a member of the human race he is entitled to his life choices just sorry to not see that gorgeous smile in the new season.

I like the show as the conflicts are reasonable and no gratuitous violence. Characters who are predominantly good hearted in a community. Can’t ask for more than that. A frontier piece like “Little House.” Glad to see a network took the chance but that the show is doing well. Outcomes are pretty well foreshadowed but there are some very touching moments. Henry reading to the orphan girl in the Christmas special was off the charts delightful.

I also became addicted to WCTH while surfing through Netflix looking for a quality program. I had seen trailors for it on Hallmark Channel but never seemed to catch it. One episode and I was hooked!!! I also appreciate the values and references to our faith. I hope Hallmark will continue that tradition and bring back Pastor Frank. I do miss Mountie Jack but will give it a chance. I pray for all the actors, writers and staff that they will experience God’s purpose in their lives.

I only began to watch WCTH on Netflix a few weeks ago. As it was listed amongst the Christian content/movies on Netflix.
I watched the first episode of series one and loved it so much and literally got so addicted to it, I watched the next episode, and the next one and the next one and like a good book, could not put it down. Fortunately I am retired, so had sufficient time to sit in front of the TV screen.
I like a lot of others here, got so hooked and binge watched it to the point that episodes ran into the next season and then the next season and so on until there was no more on Netflix at the end of series 4. Then finally a couple of days ago, I noticed that they were airing series 5, and with a couple of hot days, to stay indoors, there I sat glued to the tube and subsequently cried like a baby during the episode of Jack’s passing and Elizabeth and the whole town’s anguish and bereavement. That did hit close to the heart reigniting the passing of my wife of 37 years.
As a Christian, it is so wonderful & refreshing to be able to watch a Faith based show/series with strong morals, beautiful family and relational stories and how they are resolved with Love and respect.
The other thing that has me hooked is the superb photography, lighting & composition. The gorgeous locations & sets creating such character & atmosphere.
And the piece de resistance is that cover shot with the schoolhouse/church and the clouds, colours & lighting and reflections in the lake!!!!!!!!!!!
So looking forward to series 6 and beyond. Australia really needs more of these sort of shows/movies, and Christian shows on screen here to help get society back on track and give the public a better alternatives to all the crime & violence and ‘reality’ that is being aired atm.
God’s continued Blessings, Provision and Guidance for the future of the show and may He use it to bring people to Christ in whatever situation they may be in their lives.

Discovered WCTH while sick for 2 weeks. Binge watched from my recliner with several boxes of tissues. I love how wholesome it is. Lovely characters and community, The kind of place many of us wish we lived. As a Christian it is refreshing to find a production that doesn’t throw something perverse and ugly in the middle of the production. Very saddened at the end of Season 5. Awaiting Season 6 Feb. 4 here in the States. Harboring the great hope that actor Daniel Lissing can resolve his personal issues and wants to return. Nothing beats a good show, loyal fanbase, people you work well with and a steady paycheck. I’m certain no one will turn him away and then it’s up to the talented writers to come up with the episodes. I actually have some ideas. Regardless, I pray his life goes well as well as everyone else’s. God bless.
