I am a Heartie but I am sick of this love triangle. Nobody likes love triangles and I think it’s time that you get to the end of it and besides the producers are ready made it loud and clear that she picks Lucas. I think it’s high time that they make Nathan happy , he always is so sad every time he sees Elizabeth and so is Allie. Feels the same way I do about this but they have portrayed Nathan’s character so badly and I can’t understand why. And he is the only one that has total Elizabeth that he was in love with her and as soon as she did that it’s almost like she shut him down episode after episode we watched her look at him like she had deep feelings for him and then all the sudden he tells her how he feels in the producers totally turn her attention to Lucas it doesn’t make sense. if that is truly what they were going to do put her with Lucas all along why did they first introduce Nathan and then second of all take all of us on this journey with Nathan and pull it our heartstrings just to have his heart broken. After us Harties were so devastated when they killed off Jack I at least was happy when they brought Nathan and I was like oh okay a new love interest for Elizabeth let’s see how this goes and then lo and behold they had to bring Lucas. Did the producers really have to make Lucas seem like an awesome guy that any girl would want to date and then they make Nathan like who would want to date him look at the way he’s acting but you know what the producers made his character like that. And I know that Erin Krakow is part producer of the show so I don’t understand this. Please don’t think that I’m writing this because I’m upset that she has chosen Lucas I just don’t understand why do they have to make Nathan look so bad because if you watch the show you can clearly see how she feels about Lucas the way she acts with him and she acts so totally different with Nathan like she doesn’t even like him and to me what’s the deal with that. They should have just used this season to pursue Nathan and Elizabeth’s love and how and if she could let go of Jack and really fall in love with someone else but instead we’ve had to watch this horrible love triangle that nobody wants to see. If you have any comments to what I’ve said I would love to read them.

I hope you’ve had a chance to watch last Sunday’s episode, “A Parade and A Charade,” as I believe we start to see why Nathan has been acting as he has around Elizabeth. We should be learning more about that in future episodes. The actors, writers, and producers have assured us that Elizabeth will make her choice by the end of this season.

Elizabeth has already made her decision so why the triangle.She’s.picked Lucas ,cause she’s been rude to Nathan &has never gone on a date with him I’m disappointed but I didn’t write the story .ill keep watching it but wish she would have picked Nathan.

I feel the same way you do. I think she already picked Lucas and if for some reason she doesn’t end up with Nathan, I cannot fathom with four episodes left how they’re going to do that. With the way she always acts with Lucas it does make you think she already picked him. They are making him like this wonderful guy caring about everybody and they make Nathan seem like an uptight ,quiet keep to himself type of guy. Then bring Allie into the mix and they’re going to break two hearts instead of one if she ends up with Lucas. I don’t want people to think I’m upset if she picks Lucas I’m tired of the love triangle but from my perspective it was Nathan who was her love interest to start with then they had to bring Lucas in then they make Lucas like the guy ever girl would want to date and make Nathan look like a jerk. I think the producers could have done this differently and made both the guys look like great guys and Elizabeth get her head on straight and decide who can she not live without.

I agree Nathan is better for her, Lucas is a saloon guy, she is a teacher what a combination they have chosen for the kids to watch. she is suppose to be a role model, she was very rude to Nathan

Know that the actors, writers, and producers have assured us that both gentlemen, Lucas and Nathan, are good men and worthy of Elizabeth’s love. Showrunner/head writer John Tinker has told fans that the writers and producers considered what was best for the show and best for each character involved. Regardless of Elizabeth’s choice, both Lucas & Nathan are staying in Hope Valley.
