S2 Production Begins Summer of 2014
S2 of #WhenCallsTheHeart
One of the WCTH Executive Producers tweeted a few days ago that they are just now starting to write and production will begin late Summer. One of the cast members shared today (Twitter) that filming begins (sometime) in August.
Official/Exact production and air dates have yet to be published. Cast/Crew have speculated that “S2 is unlikely to air before early 2015.” The WCTH producer’s page posted a few hours ago that as soon as they know the dates, they’ll share that information.
Cedar Cove runs through mid-October and the Countdown to Christmas starts early November. Various articles have S1 of The Good Witch starting either January 2015 or “early 2015.” It remains to be seen whether Hallmark Channel USA will air 2 or more of its scripted series at the same time or spread them throughout the year.
It’s a safe bet that when the WCTH Producers and Hallmark iron out the details regarding # of episodes, production dates, air dates, etc. all that will be made public. Once that information is announced we’ll update the FAQ document, as well.
Until then, we all get to wait with baited breath in wonderfully delicious anticipation.

Love your newsletter so much information at a time we really need to know. Not having withdrawals from WCTH this week when information is shared in such a fun way. Wonderful job Sheri and goes to Brian Bird too. I would suggest to get to know other Hearties and bring them into focus with perhaps a bio.or something what would bring in the fans and have a personal connection I believe all Hearties know the admins by now it time to show case interest in others to. I love the interviews and cast bios. The kids are so great as well as the adult actors. Would love to know more about them and how they manage school and acting. “Wyatt” is a handsome fellow (Ty Wood, I believe). The eyes are riveting! Is he Canadian? I hope we see more of him, and his character is developed. Any chance of sharing out takes from S1 and more scenes that were cut? It’s a long time till 2015. Erin and Daniel are magical together.

We love this show!! Only disappointment was that there was not MORE episodes in season one and hopefully that was just because it was the first season and there will be many more episodes in the future seasons! Its been years since we enjoyed new shows because we just don’t like the new shows with all the gory violence, sex, bad language, but now with WCTH and Signed, Sealed, Delivered, along with a couple other new family shows we found we FINALLY have new shows to watch 🙂 and so glad for this website as there is actually people (believe it or not) that don’t like facebook or Twitter 🙂
