Heartie Shout Out to WCTH Make-Up Artists

Hearties give a shout out to the fabulous make-up work done on WCTH that not only makes everyone look beautiful when it’s called for but also draws us in to the pain and suffering of Coal Valley.  Kudos to the fabulous crew!

Pictured here are various scenes from season 1 brought to reality through expert make-up:  Elizabeth with a black eye, a leg wound from running out of the mine when the widows were trying to save their homes, callouses on Billy Hamilton’s hands giving Jack Thornton yet another clue to Hamilton’s integrity (or lack of), a fight scene with a miner trying to steal Cat’s brooch, Jack’s scar from a bear who is still talking about it, and Bill Avery’s wounds from being attacked by (allegedly) Gowen’s henchmen.
