Hallmark Channel Original Series Starring Soap Actors

The Hallmark Channel has become a feast for the soap starved fan who want to watch quality shows at night. There original series “When Calls the Heart” and the summer series “Cedar Cove” starring Andie McDowell and Barbara Niven(OLTL and B&B) have gained many viewers and “Signed Sealed and Delivered” starring Eric Mabius(Ugly Betty) is ready to start next month.
Fans are waiting patiently to find out if there will be a second season of “When Calls The Heart” and Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President of Programming for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel spoke out saying that they are leaning toward season two of this show. Official word has not been given yet, but with the success of the show it would seem it would be good for the Hallmark Channel to have this series in it’s line up.
The season finale airs this Saturday night. The show starring Erin Krakow, Daniel Lissing, and Lori Loughlin(Edge of Night) will have James Brolin as a guest star and soap opera hunk Jack Wagner(GH and B&B). Let’s hope that the cliffhanger ending leads to renewal for this heartwarming show.
