Is there anybody out there that thinks that Jack may be coming back I have this feeling deep down inside that he still alive and that he will be coming back to the show I just don’t know if anybody else out there feels that way

We have been told by the executive producer that, though it is very sad, Jack did die in that landslide and will not be riding back into Hope Valley. Jack will always be lovingly remembered in Hope Valley.

I love When Calls the Heart! I’m only 11 years old, but I have already watched season 1-5 twice and have watched seasons 6 and 7. I bought season 8 as soon as it came out. I became very attached to Jack Thornton. He was such a special character. After I watched the end of the second to last episode, I cried all the last episode and was very emotional all that night. I would have loved to see him return, but at this I think it’s too late. I’m honestly having trouble deciding between team Nathan and team Lucas. I think it would be cool if Elizabeth fell in love with another mountie because I just feel like she has a special bond with then ever since Jack. Every time I turn on the tv I check to see if any new episodes of season 8 have come out. The ending of the second episode was so intense. I feel like Elizabeth likes Nathan a lot, but I know she is going to have a hard time loving again after what happened to Jack. Daniel Lissing, if you are reading this, I just want you to know that I respect your decision in leaving, and that I thought you did an amazing job playing the role of ‘Jack’. I love allthe people on the show, and hope the seasons never end.

I am new as a Heartie. I just binged watch seasons 1 – 7 – so excited to see season 8. Does anyone know yet if Lori will be returning. I found it rough to loose Daniel and then Lori – two main characters of the show.

We don’t know what the future holds for Abigail but we do know that the light will always be left on for Abigail in Hope Valley.

I am a late Hearties fan! I just completed Seasons 1-5, however, I don’t know if I want to keep watching the seasons.
Although, I thoroughly enjoyed the seasons, and I thought all of the actors were phenomenal, but I have to be honest the main character of Jack really kept me watching the show. I totally loved his character, and literally cried so hard when he died. I never attached myself to a character like I did through this show. I would like an honest answer from other fans if it is worth continuing the seasons?

Jack will always be remembered by Elizabeth, Hearties, and everyone in Hope Valley. I hope you will continue watching because season 6 truly is like a balm to ease Hearyies’ grieving hearts. It is so sweet to meet Little Jack and the new characters of Hope Valley. Season 7 is a lot of fun to watch as we see Elizabeth’s story continue, watch Henry Gowen continue to grow and hit some stumbling blocks, laugh & cry with Rosemary and Lee, and enjoy spending time with the other wonderful people of Hope Valley.

Please continue to watch as you will find it soothing to your soul. Jack’s memory will always be there but Elizabeth learns to move forward with Little Jack and with the help of her friends !!

Please let Elizabeth choose Nathan!!…..that would be such a great union!!

I hope Elizabeth chooses Lucas. They have so much in common and he cares so deeply for her. They have so many common interests and he is her intellectual equal. Does Elizabeth really want to marry another Mountie? What about Little Jack and the need for stability in her life. Her communications with Nathan are so stilted and awkward. I can see why she cares about him and enjoys his company, but I do not see any real connection between them. The exchanges with Elizabeth and Lucas are so fun. And though there are conflicts between them, he is open to learning from her and respecting her wishes as to how she wants to be treated. They make each other better people and they are both growing from their relationship. I will be disappointed if Elizabeth chooses Nathan, but I love the show and will continue to enjoy the wonderful characters.

Actually I love the show,as well and will watch it for as long as it is on the air. I watch the reruns every day. I feel as though Lucus tries too hard to wow her with things. Very precious things but I really do not think Elizabeth’s heart is shallow. I feel Nathan’s love is very deep and he can be who he is as he seems to be a confident person just like Jack was.Good Luck Nathan!!

I am team Lucas all the way. He brings fire and challenges Elizabeth. He is by far the most interesting choice – the show has already done the mountie thing with Jack.

        Hi everyone,

I’m new to WCTH, just since last season. I am Team Nathan.

I like Lucas but I just don’t feel that he is a good fit for Elizabeth. I don’t see him as a true family man.

Know that the actors, writers, and producers have assured us that both gentlemen, Lucas and Nathan, are good men and worthy of Elizabeth’s love. Showrunner/head writer John Tinker has told fans that the writers and producers considered what was best for the show and best for each character involved. Regardless of Elizabeth’s choice, both Lucas & Nathan are staying in Hope Valley.

I’m a new “heartie” and I’m in season 4. What happened to Ray Wyatt after he and Gowen were arrested? We see Gowen in jail, but not him. And is A.J. ever seen again after “escaping” from jail?
