Definitely watch each episode and want season 8 to be approved. I join with the many that really enjoy the show. Characters are excellent for their roll.

I wish to connect w/o social media, i.e. via the website only. But know i have not missed an episode or event surrounding the show. Guess that qualifies me as a Heartie, right?
But since i do not get into social platforms, i may have missed a comment similar to mine.
I have noticed many comments of people wanting “Lucus” to be “Elizabeth’s” escort rather than “Nathan”
If one comes from Elizabeth’s heart, you can see the many struggles indeed for choosing either one. Nathan has been with Alie since she was 4 and has skills of fatherhood altho’ an uncle and has juggled it with being a Mountie successfully and unselfishly. Yet, Elizabeth knows well what being with & losing a Mountie means.
While Lucas is successful and gallant, can Elizabeth really see little “Jack” being in the saloon life? Would that really be what “Jack” would have wanted for his son? Seems Jack moved out of it to get away from those that frequented and hoteled there. Sure its more upscale, but will it remain so, and what people does it invite besides the community. See the dilemmas she faces rather than rushing her to choose. Perhaps neither will be the best for her and Jack. But with the author in mind…a Mountie is a major part of the main characters What role could possibly make Nathan that major role.

On the March 29, 2020 episode I noticed that Elizabeth called Lee by his real name, Karan.

There is a gritty honesty and integrity woven into this show, that sustains it one season to the next because it resonates with our need for integrity and honesty. Forgiveness, loyalty, compassion, and this fact that though one member of the community makes a mistake, no matter how serious, that person is deserving of forgiveness and another chance. There are not two worlds, there is no hell to be banished to, except what we make for others. Forgiveness has more power than you know, if you have faith, all will be well. Forgive and renew. The only way forward is together. What a great show it is!
