Actor SERGE HOUDE Sits in Judgment on Hallmark Channel’s Hit Series “WHEN CALLS THE HEART”

LOS ANGELES (March 2, 2015) – Veteran character actor SERGE HOUDE sits in judgment when he Guest Stars as Judge Roy Parker on the Season Two premiere of the Hallmark Channel series, WHEN CALLS THE HEART. The award-winning dramatic western series will kick-off with a special two-hour premiere on April 25th.

WHEN CALLS THE HEART tells the story of Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow), a young school teacher from a wealthy Eastern family, who migrates from the big city to teach school in a small coal mining town in the west. The two-hour season opener “Trials of the Heart,” brings the pivotal arrival of Judge Roy Parker (Houde) to town in order to preside over Coal Valley’s mine explosion trial and render his decision.

Houde is thrilled to be part of this popular period drama, adding “It’s easy to understand why Hallmark fans love ‘When Calls the Heart’. It has a wonderful cast and crew…and awesome writing. All I can say about the storyline is that it’s full of twists and turns with plenty of secrets and surprises.
