Action Packed Up-date

Brian Bird gave an action-packed update via Skype to the Central PA Hearties.

Please bear in mind that the ‪#‎WhenCallsTheHeart production team and Hallmark Channel USA are still ironing out details and nothing is definite yet.

1. Brian believes Season 2 will contain 13 episodes, with a minimum of 10.
2. A Coal Valley Christmas movie is being considered for the 2015 Countdown to Christmas Season. The WCTH team is just dreaming up possibilities. Nothing official.
3. The Season 1 DVD set will be bundled with a Coal Valley Cookbook, featuring recipes from Erin Krakow, Daniel Lissing, Lori Loughlin, and others.
4. Brian and Michael Landon Jr. have assembled a first class writing team, and show production is slated to begin in October.
5. Hearties have proven that the ‪#‎FamilyTV audience is alive and well; Brian has been invited to address The U.S. Congress in October to discuss our movement and WCTH.

It will be great if there will be 13 episodes of this great and wonderful series. It is also wonderful to hear that Brian is invited to Congress and that Congress will discover that there are still wonderful family shows out there and this is surely one of them.

I have watched S1 a “zillion” times, and have not gotten tired of watching them all. May I request on behalf of all Hearties that in the final episode, we see Jack and Elizabeth together for good. Then S3 can begin at that point. Hearties, let’s rally for a S3.
