Every now and then you discover a TV show that just touches you. You’re not sure why, but for some reason it fills a void that you had no idea existed. For this TV Junkie, and so many other fans, that show was Hallmark’s When Calls The Heart.

I found When Calls The Heart on Netflix at the end of this past summer when TV was looking pretty bleak. With the summer TV lineup lacking the quality I looked for and trending towards the dark and depressing, I found myself wanting to just sit down, relax, and enjoy a good TV show. I wanted something to make me laugh, cry, hope and remember the goodness in people. When Calls The Heart fit that bill perfectly. . . .

I love this show!! You don’t find them like this anymore, ones that are clean and the whole family can watch. I’m looking to get involved in the heartie activities so if someone can direct me to where I can get that information I would appreciate it. I’d really love to go to the set where this great series is shot

Simply love this show! Have watched it from the beginning! Wonderful actors who make you feel like your right there with them through whatever they encounter. As a first grade teacher for 28 yrs., I so relate to Erin’s character and how superbly she interacts with her students. She and Jack are magical, as are all the actors. Love all the children!
I’m 73 yrs. young and look forward to every Sunday night when the show airs!

Hello, I don’t know how many of you are Canadian. I would like to propose that we nominate Janette Oke for Canada’s Walk of Fame. She has received awards in the US, but I don’t know of any from Canada, and this is a shame because she has made an important contribution to Canadian literature. I think it would be wonderful if she can get the recognition from Canadians for her work during her lifetime. If you think this is a good idea, go here to nominate her.
