Top DVDs Provide Good Holiday Home Entertainment

On December 28, On DVD Release.com reports that “Pan” is the top-selling DVD in the family category. Other top sellers in this category are “Max” and “Cinderella.” All of these family movies that have recently been in theaters are now available on DVD. They are movies with heart with some of the best actors, cinematography, and timely themes. “War Room” that is now out on DVD is a top-seller in many categories. This is an inspirational movie about the power of prayer to bring reconciliation and redemption to a family and more. Now out on DVD, “Inside Out” and “Hero 6, which are top-selling DVDs in the animation category, are good choices for family entertainment and home libraries. Another top-selling movie now on DVD in the sports category that would make a good choice for family entertainment is “McFarland.”
Christian Cinema.com reveals that currently its top-selling movies available now on DVD include: “War Room,” “When Calls the Heart,” “Beyond The Mask,” “Love Comes Softly,” “Courageous,” and “Do You Believe.” These and others like them are all good choices for redemptive, family, entertainment. Another great holiday gift is AD the Bible Continues, now on DVD. The acting, cinematography, costumes…are outstanding in this excellent series. Movieguide.org recommends “Happy New year, Charlie Brown” on DVD.
“When Calls the Heart,” produced by Michael Landon Jr., that goes into Season Three in February 2016, has been one of the best series for families on television. Season One and Two of this series are now available on DVD. Now is a good time to catch up with this exquisite family series.

Loved the 2 hr When Calls the Heart special on Dec. 26th! Will it be re-broadcast between now and Feb, when Season 3 starts? I hope so. I need to see these wonderful shows again and again….they sustain me in this terrible time in politics, crime and social decline. Help help.
