Exclusive! When Calls the Heart Cast Reveal Their New Year’s Resolutions

Fans of Hallmark Channel’s When Calls the Heart sit patiently as they await Season 3. Will Elizabeth accept Charles’ surprise proposal? Will Bill remain in jail? Hearties will get a taste of the new season with the show’s holiday special, When Calls the Heart: New Year’s Wish premiering on December 26 at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel.

In the two-hour holiday installment of the original series, Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) and Jack (Daniel Lissing) determine the future of their relationship in the wake of Charles’ surprise proposal to Elizabeth at the end of last season. Abigail (Lori Loughlin) finds herself the caretaker of a young orphan and his sister while Elizabeth turns her attention to one of her students, who still grieves the loss of her mother. Bill (Jack Wagner) tries to convince Jack of his innocence, but Jack is distrustful of his mentor. A newcomer to Hope Valley threatens to expose Pastor Frank’s (Mark Humphrey) past and disrupt his new life. Nora (Kristina Wagner) and Bill reach a resolution about their marriage, while Nora contemplates what the future holds for her.  Meanwhile, after winning an essay contest sponsored by the San Francisco Herald, Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) hurriedly puts the whole town to work on an elaborate New Year’s Eve celebration. What will the new year hold for the townfolk of Hope Valley?

“Every day in 2016 maintain healthy boundaries, be respectful to myself, be responsible for my own wants and needs, allow myself the opportunity to learn from others, be unique, embrace stillness and enjoy who I have become.” —Kristina Wagner
